These terms apply when you use CaptionVerse. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to agent@captionverse.app.

What CaptionVerse does

“CaptionVerse”, “we” and “us” refer to the CaptionVerse service.

CaptionVerse uses AI to help you write and refine photo captions through messaging. Access may be limited during testing. These terms do not cover the separate services provided by your messaging app or network.

Your content

You keep your rights in the photos, messages and other content you send. Only send content you have permission to use and share with us. You grant us permission to store, copy, analyse and transmit that content as needed to provide and support CaptionVerse, including through the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

We do not claim ownership of the captions generated for you. You may use and edit them, subject to applicable law and other people’s rights. AI output may resemble other output, and copyright protection is not guaranteed.

Use the service responsibly

Do not use CaptionVerse for illegal activity, harassment, exploitation or infringement of someone else’s rights. Do not attempt to break into the service, bypass access restrictions or disrupt it. Avoid sending sensitive personal information or private photos of others without their permission.

Check before posting

AI can misunderstand a photo or produce inaccurate, inappropriate or unoriginal text. Review every caption before using it. You decide what to publish and are responsible for that decision.

Availability and access

CaptionVerse is being developed. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or unavailable. We may restrict access to protect users, comply with the law or address misuse. You can stop using it at any time.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every caption will meet your needs.

Nothing limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Subject to your statutory rights, we are not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised use of the service or your publication of content that infringes someone else’s rights.

Privacy and stopping use

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed and how to make a data request. Stopping use or deleting a conversation from your messaging app does not automatically erase the records held by CaptionVerse or its providers.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post updates here with a new date and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the service where practicable. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using CaptionVerse.
